Is anyone else having problems with the site at the moment...........also it is saying there are only 171 registered members here.

Hi Pauline, Looks like there could be a software issue with our forum hosts with regard to number of registered members. Can you please let me know what other problems you are experiencing and I'll get onto them to sort it out.

hi pauline, yes, I'm getting the same 171 figure, cannot see anything else wrong although GoinSoon was having probs changing his Av, I have been in and changed mine.
I'm sure Cindy will have this fixed soon, are you sure there has not been a mass resignation

the only other problem Cindy is that after having read a post in the pick this place section the tick to say no unread posts stays as if there are some............nothing major but there might be some problems afoot.

My problem is very minor, but still tells me I have one new private message when I know there is not one there - just a bit annoying - also unable to post a picture - though I did change my avatar - someone else told me they couldn't post a pic either - something going on somewhere.
Have edited to say that I am only showing 170 registered members as well!

LI have had the nessage of 1 new message for a while now. Said 2 the other day and I read the new one and it still went back to 1 new message cheers blaze

this has something to do with your log in, I just logged out and then logged back in and the figure is 3,206 now
try logging out then in again, this may also fix the message problem

Same as Pauline, the Pick This Place thread is saying there are posts I haven't read, but it isn't true. The same thing happened with a thread I put up a post on - it is still marked as having unread posts, whereas in fact the last post is the one I wrote!

ok Try signing out from here, turn pooter off for 20 seconds and then restart pooter and sign in again here,

i have noticed that after you read a thread that you click on it usualy goes into a lighter color, but latley when you go the main part of that forum ie general , it shows the thread like you havent read it yet, ] dunno if that makes any sense

Hmmm, I think this maybe something Cindy has to sort out with the forum host, as she said below she has let them know and just hope for a fix soon.
I can't work out why some of you are having problems and some are not.
