We are off on Monday to Lennox Head............only for 8 days but hey it's better than nothing and it is only an hour and a half away, hope the rain stays away though weather is something we have no control over so no point stressing over it.

Thanks Gerty and Dougwe..........I remember when our kids used to go to a school camp for a week there many many moons ago, don't know if they still have it but it was great for kids.

Hey guys
As a early teen 13 I think, I went to that camp for a week, I was a late bed wetter and lay awake most nites trying to stay dry and spent the days learning great stuff in a great place.
Now at 62 with cancer and a diabetic, but still a camper, I still often check during the nite to make sure that my chemo tables havent made me a wee bit damp (my long suffereing wife is understanding, but I still blush if damp). Still I awake to spent the day learning great stuff in a great place....ah the cycle of life is grand.

Lennox Head - lovely place. We've stayed in the Lake Ainsworth van park a couple of times. A bit of a boring van park, but there are weekly markets that are right next door and that adds interest.
Enjoy your stay.
