found a little wiring issue - the Van battery is not charging due to some changes made by the indescribable incompetants we purchased through. Groan!! we still have asmall chance of getting away today but probably tomorrow now. Never mind I'm on holiday in my head anyway

Oh that's a shame. Best to be fully prepared before you leave...tomorrow will come. Have a good one!

Hope problem sorts out quickly & easily. Since we saw you we have had fuel pump replaced for 3rd time in less than 6 mths so don't talk to me about incompentent tradesmen. This third time was actually warranty work done on warranty work. Makes you wonder. Today we are at Biggenden. Cheers

Hi Geoff & Jen,
Just a thought, we have had problems with our battery - new one in October - and our battery charger getting extremely hot after we replaced it with a sealed unit - NO ONE told us that the battery charger has to be adjusted for the different type of battery!!! Only found the possible cause just last week, and a guy is coming around tomorrow to fix it up for us.

Some auto electricians don't have a clue when it comes to auxiliary/house battery wiring in caravans and RVs. One needs to "sus" out the experience of the sparky in this area when getting work done.

glad you found a good one. the trouble is we usually have to pay for thier incompetance, oops, experience building, because of course they never admit to it. And its in all areas of car repair. just worse in non standard vehicles.
Oh that's a shame. Best to be fully prepared before you leave...tomorrow will come. Have a good one!
