The pool has overflowed, and the drain was blocked with leaves etc, so I had to make like a duck to go and clear it. No chance of flooding here though. We're on a hill.
Just saw your post Ma, I'm not that far from Mt Warren Park, as the crow flies.

Same in Murwillumbah. I was going down to see to family in Bellingen in a couple of days - guess I'll have to cancel that one due to floods

Just speaking to my baby brother (51) he said he has had to empty the swimming pool three times today to get it back to it's correct level.
He reckons they have had over 200ml in the last 12 hours.
He lives at Mt. Warren Park near Beenleigh

Thanks Pam. Those Grandies will be getting cabin fever at this rate.
Wombat, I saw on the news that your little corner is the only place not raining or cold. I couldn't handle those temps. I'd have to sit in the air con all day!

Beth, we do sit in aircon most days, but I booked a cruise for Aussie Day at 1800 to see the fireworks from the sea at Freo and it's forecast is 41 deg for that day, AND I did not think of the crowds that will be there
Some wombat's can be stupid

You don't have to go that far to get warm. Has been hot up here in Echuca all week. 37 today, not getting any cooler for a few days.
Don't remember when we last had rain.

This lot is coming in from the east Wombat. Bit unusual, we tend to only get it from that way if it's a cyclone, which it's not.

Wombat, the fireworks should be spectacular from the water. One of my most memorable occasions in Perth was a dinner cruise with a friend from city to Freo and back, with a bonus boat ride later into the evening. It's my favourite city. Take care everyone, and let's hope and pray we don't have a repeat of last year's disasters at the hands of idiots in control.

What happened last year?
I'm only a wombat and have been asleep since last year.
