Hi everyone, just watching the local news and a report said that 20 campers were hit by THIEVES last night. It would seem that not only country music lovers go to Tamworth in January so the advice from police is LOCK IT UP OR LOSE IT.
Even if you lock stuff up you still need to hide it so the scum are not tempted to break a window.
If only we could catch these scum and punish them in a way that they would not want to do it again.

Can't give them the punishment they deserve, the poor buggers have had a hard and poor start in life so they can't help it, so say the bleeding heart brigade.

A better start in life would have been some discipline and a good spanking where and when required. Spare the rod, spoil the child

What in intoduction to Grey Nomads. Welcome KFT, nice of you to join us, and warn us. I hope you enjoy your time on The Grey Nomads. Unfortunately it's very difficult to secure everything in tents, annexes and vehicles. We do what we can, but we really are easy targets for the "less fortunate" who scan parks and camp sites for anything they can sell for drug money. If it's bolted or not bolted down, they will find a way to lift it, and sell it somewhere else. Just last Monday arvo, in broad daylight, my pushy was stolen from my site. It leaned against the A frame, covered for 12 months, and suddenly it disappeared, along with 3 other bikes from around the park, which were later recovered. My fault. I hadn't locked it. I was in the van and didn't hear a thing. Other bikes were interferred with, and the locks deterred the thieves. They stole fishing gear, butane cookers, and anything they could put their hands on. It's the downside of this lifestyle. The crooks go window shopping and come back when all is quiet. For all the nice people who are out there enjoying the festivities, there are the crooks who aren't the least bit interested in the event, just the treasures.

That was brilliant...
But we missed out seeing their reaction later, would have been a scream.
