Not sure how many of you know about this, but IGA offer at least 4c per litre off their grocery bill. Just show them your fuel docket (eg, 80 litres at last fuel stop we made) and they will deduct 4c per litre (approxiately $3.20) off your grocery bill. Even works in IGA liquor in NSW.
Not widely publicised, even the check out chicks are unsure about it, they will not offer it to you, but you need to ask. Even worked on Qld W/worths docket that had already had 8c per litre deducted from fuel bill, gave me a further 4c per litre of IGA liquor in Bingara.
Every little bit helps

Ritchies IGA here in Boonah do it the other way, they give you a 4c litre fuel voucher to use at the local BP servo, that way it keeps the spend in town

yes, the neighbour here says she takes her woolies fuel docket to woolies fuel, gets the 4c off there, then takes the fuel receipt to Franklins and they also give her c/litre off her grocery bill. Double dipping I call it but if they are happy to do it?

I got 2 9L gas bottles filled at our local IGA a while ago at $22 or $23 per bottle, and got a voucher for 10c off per litre for fuel when I payed for it. It was limited to a max of 50L, but that's still $5 better off i was.

Some have a designated day each week for the senior disc.

Seniors discount seems to vary from day to day, for each IGA.
I have used several times over an old W'worths fuel docket which has 8c per litre discount and still are recieveing discounts on it from IGA. Does not have to be BP.
Have also been asked if we bought fuel locally. Discount may vary.
It definately pays to ask - both for fuel and seniors discount.
