Hope all our Grey Nomad friends are staying dry and safe with all the rain in SE Qld and NSW at the moment - seems to be getting more widespread.
Friends went down the coast - may get stuck there - Pacific Motorway got water over the road in some spots.
Take lots of care.

No problems heading across to Caboolture/Morayfield (SE Qld) this morning, but on our return about 2 hrs later, the Bruce Highway was closed south bound just north of the Bribie Interchange, and water was over the Bribie Island road due to the king tides - thank heavens we have a 4WD. Since Monday lunchtime, here on the island, we have had 730ml to 6am this morning.

Those who don't slow down in the flood waters or heavy rain run off, and throw backwash all over everything within 50 metres, should have their tyres slashed. Every property and on-coming traffic get damaged and the driver's visibility is reduced to zero in seconds. Oh, so dangerous! Camp on high ground.
