I was thinking of heading down to see family in Victoria.I used the new Road conditions thread to check out the flooding and road conditions.
Not easy with the flooding and road closures.
Then it struck me.
There are hundreds if not thousands of people with their lives disrupted and sometimes in danger and here's me thinking of the inconvenience of going south.
Feel a bit of a jerk now, I'm OK I don't have to travel and I'm high and dry.
I feel for all those affected and wish them well.
Just wish that everyone comes through safely.

I have traveled south, and there,s a cyclone at home in NQ, floods in NSW, and heavy rain everywhere.I am thinking of changing my name to NOAH. Going in to Sydney town tommorow, via train and rivercat from Parrammatta. Its only $21 for a multi ticket for all transport!Might go on the manly ferry from Circular key, who knows......

I rang my son in Biggenden half hour ago to make sure he was safe.. He said he was in Childers for the night and they haven't had rain for days with no sign of any of the dangers the other towns are experiencing.

You are so right Yuglamron, we are now re-planning our next trip, but we are safe and dry, no big deal.
Very best wishes to all who have been affected by all this muddy dirty water.
Bill 12, give my love to Manly beach!
