Heading West from Ocean Grove to revisit the Coorong and up to Adelaide to catch up with family and for their Caravan and Camping Show. Something a bit different than going to the Melbourne Show each year.
Anybody got any favorite free camps down along the coast of S.A?

Sounds good to me p43. I'm thinking heading that way on my next big trip, I have never been to the SA coast. I'm off on my Townsville road trip 11th April for 8 weeks. Thinking of a few days away before then though, just local to make sure all is working ok with the new tug. I have already checked the wiring and the level of the camper on the tow ball etc so that all works but still need to check electric brakes as no instructions as to how to adjust the controller in the cab. A try and see job.

Hi Robyn & Ted, we went in the opposite direction in 2010 & stayed at Johanna Beach, Rapid Bay, Sawpit Picnic Area & Wrights Bay. I don't remember the order of them & I don't have my Camps book with me to check their camp number, but I can remember them to be a good free campsite & we spent 3 or 4 days at each. Sorry I can't be more specific (you are only trusting my memory), but have a good trip & stay safe.

Thanks Chris and Terry,
Will mark those spots in the book.
Doug, after our experience with a different set of electric brakes in our new tug, I suggest you get some instructions relevant to your type.
Happy Travels

Hi wombat, I think you must push the "Energize" button to the left in an emergency etc. There is a little lever on the right side of the unit and I reckon that might be to adjust the pressure.
