Sad, very sad. Fell in love with the wrong person. Got her onto drugs and she was never the same after. Found her in a bathtub. Such a waste of human life.

Correction: She was once a bloody good singer, but her lifestyle put paid to that

I was saddened to hear of her passing and to see the path her life had taken when she was alive. She had everything going for her a few years ago, until she took up with that Bobby Brown. It is a good example of a choice poorly made. It is certainly a reminder to anyone to make appropriate choices for themselves and to make a caring investment in those who genuinely care for our welfare.

Very sad waste of life. Her voice in Bodyguard was absolutely over-powering. It still gives me good pumps when I hear it. If anyone does any singing or has anything to do with music would know that feeling to belt out a tune.

If you like Whitney Houston then have a look at this.
Learning to loove yourSELF is the greatest gift of all , another one who did not take their own advice . O'keefe - if you want to be happy , sing a happy song .

Elvis was a comparative late comer to the scene. Check out this list.
So sad that such a talented person will also be now added to this list.

It seems to have a lot to do with the amount of money they gain at a young age, or very quickly, and the type of people they attract along the way. It's a sad cycle, and people prey on these talented but vulnerable people and take advantage of their weakened state under the bright lights, behind the hoo hah back stage and in private. What we see in the media is not real life for these people. All those who have became strong and resisted the temptation of the vultures and leeches must be admired. Those who conduct the star's business behind the scenes need to be strong and responsible, and when someone slips in through the cracks, it can lead to disasters such as Whitney, and all those before her. It's not so glamorous.

Trouble with show biz is that for every star there is a thousand vultures and leeches around them. Everyone out for themselves, using the star for their own gain.
Like a lot of others, Whitney "had it all" - looks, talent, money, success- and everyone wanted a piece of it.
I'm sorry for her, for her daughter, and for all of the others like her.

The star dies and the parasites survive, it makes one sick.
