.. and here I was totally absorbed in warbling a few tunes .. saw this grey haired character sneaking across the front my wheels looking for the entrance door ..
My first thoughts .. " not another whinger complaining about the noise emanating from my jukebox " ..
but no .. not at all .. I was pleasantly surprised with a visit from Ozi2 ..
.. was great to meet you and your lovely wife .. and I thank you for taking those extra steps to make your presence known & I wish you safe travelling from here on ..
See folks .. it pays to behave at all times .. one never knows when you get a visit .. !!

Yes Jonathan, we are everywhere, never know where we might turn up. Thats the beauty of this forum, as long as we post on here occasionally as to where we are or what we are doing, there could always be someone in the vicinity wanting to catch up.

.. gotta agree with you .. I love singing and as long as it sounds good to me then I'll keep doing it. If others can enjoy it too, then thats a bonus !
If one enjoys singing regardless of the quality or personal skill, you will usually find that person to be happy in their disposition.
I know when I practice and I find that its just not feeling right, then I'm usually concerned about something and I'm not really feeling 'happy" ..
so .. the more I sing .. the happier I am ! (and probably under much sufference to others too) .. hehe !

Music no matter what form it takes, be it singing or listening or playing is good for the soul.
Like Jon said it doesn't matter what you sound like if you get pleasure from it and it makes you happy............GO FOR IT.

I can relate to the singing Jon. No matter how blue I feel, singing a strong tune will shake the blues away. I'm a member of Sing Australia to help with that. I joined in Cairns, and I'm now a member at Gawler. We'll have to have a jam session when our paths cross. I don't play any instruments, but I do love to hit the strong notes of a great song. I heard the group El Divo the other morning. What a great way to start the day.

I can a attest to the fact that Jonathan has a lovely voice and his Karaoke setup is great. I can see it'd be lots of fun.
I had a bit of a go myself, but the voice is a bit rusty, need more practice.

Thanks for the kind words Beth .. but dont build it up too much or the expectations will rise ..hehe .. I'd temporarily forgotten about our 'intimate' moment together .. (watch the tongues wag now) hehe ..
Chris, I did join Sing Australia too at Mareeba, but unfortunately most of the time there was spent singing in different tongues .. I lost interest .. I'm still trying to sing in English .. then I got the flu. The people were great but I cant play an instrument either or read music so I'll stick to what I know and enjoy for now ..

Great stuff Jon. I remember my brief stay at Greens last year and the wonderful music and dancing at Happy Hour, I do hope that is the case next time we all meet up. You can't beat music to lift the soul. Im off the the festival in Frances in SA next week then another music festival in March. I enjoy most types of music and especially enjoyed the opportunity to sing along with you up at Greens. Brought back many memories of my growing up. Keep up the good work. Tess

Tess, You should be in Echuca this weekend for our music festival. It used to be the jazz festival but with different organisers this year they have extended the itinerary to now being a music festival.
