Boy am I going for it today,so much valuable advise for a brand new comer.
On the specs inside the boot it states 195R14 Pressure 350. Our max load is 2.5 ton
The tyres that are on the van are
195R14C 8 ply light truck
Max dual load 900 kgs . As I read it the max weight is 900x2= 1.8
which means that the tyres are the incorrect ones.
Is this correct.? (I sure you know but we have 4 tyres)
What fun

How old are the tyres? If they're relatively new they'll be ok. I'm not sure how the weight is broken down between wheels, but you have 4, and I think the weight is divided up between them. Then it's about inflation. Keep them firm to specifications.

I feel sure that it would be 900 x 4, i.e. 3600 kg
To clear the air check the load index on the sidewall of the tyre. If it's "104" that means 900kg per tyre.

PS: 350 kpa equates to 50 psi in the old money
