It certainly looks good, and is very light. Lift it with one hand easily. Don't see why it wouldn't do for light clothes. Not sure about Jeans. And I don't think it would do Sheets and Towels, although if I ever find that it does, I'll let you know.

I've used Woolmix for all my washing for 25 years Elle. Used to make my own before the supermarkets started to sell it.
I think it was $99.95/9 ? Free postage. Only took a week to get here too. Ordered it on the 20th.

If you look at the first Pic. Marj., you'll see I put a Paper Towel roll beside it, to give you an idea of the actual size. The figures I quoted were written on the side of the Box it came in.

I don't have room to add one of those as well. Don't mind soaking and agitating by hand, but have a great deal of trouble getting excess water out by wringing. The POD has given me an idea. I'm thinking if maybe I could use my existing bucket with a basket (something like a colonder) sitting in it to drain for a while might work. Still thinking.

Check out your Op-shops Chi-Chi1. There are round plastic containers,[not the right word, as they have a heap of [Half? inch] square holes in them,] about the size of a colander.
You could press down on the clothes in them to get rid of some of he water.
I'm not sure of their original purpose. Possibly Salad Spinner interiors. This one is a mall one. I have seen them a bit larger.
This one is 20cm across.
You can also buy plastic Bowls with lots of holes in them for drainage. I've got one about 30cm across, and about 18 cm deep, which is doubling as a leaf-catcher in my Tank at home at the moment as I have a wierd size hole, and am waiting for the right sized metal catcher. Meantime, is't doing a great job.
