Hoping to see Lake Tyers re-open to the sea, fairly infrequent they tell me. The rain is adequate but the buildup needs a corresponding blow to breach. Doesn't seem to effect the fishing with good catches of the usual including heaps of prawns. Beautiful area and so much to see. Can't wait to drive up the Great Alpine Way before winter as the tell us is is unbelievable scenery.

G'day Graham... never made it to your area, rain was too unfriendly! You will love that drive over the mountains if you can find some clear weather. Its particularly interesting in mid-summer when the tiny alpine wildflowers are out... just a tad different from the WA wildflowers which were so full-on!
