Hi everyone, just thought I would say hello, we are new to the forum, have just retired and looking forward to doing a lot more travelling now. and we will get to it when the rain stops, although we have nothing to complain about, we are safe and dry as is our house, not like a lot of poor folk who are having to deal with floods, our thoughts go out to them.

Welcome to the forum from another south coaster, although we now call our place in Ulladulla our holiday home as we spend most of our time touring in the caravan.

Another welcome from the deep south.
You will find this a friendly site, but beware of stray animals.

Thanks for the warm welcome from so many, as far as plans go we were hoping to head outback a bit after Easter, maybe Mungo NP, up to Bourke, along the darling, visiting rels in Cobar, maybe get in a visit to the zoo at Dubbo.....but I think it may be on hold for a while till all flood water has finally disappeared. Thanks for your thoughts Gerty, we travelled down the big hill from canberra on wednesday and it was not a pleasant trip, a little bit scary actually, the weather was horrendous and that is not the most forgiving of roads, the other half is a very experienced driver and we arrived home safely.
