The B ig P etrolium company In Epping Vic. got me for 87.9 cents per litre for gas. I once boycoted them but now with company card that doesn't work.
Bloomin' thieves
80.7 else where in town but was in need of it at the time ....
If it is the BP Truck Stop in Cooper Street near the Hume Freeway all fuel 90% of the time is dearer than down in Epping Central, ignoring Supermarket discounts.

The local fuel has finalyl gone up after being 1.45 for unleaded for as long as I can remember. Today up to 1.47. All petrol stations here in Echuca have the same price, never been any different that I know of.

88.9 in Wonthaggi. It has always been about 10c more than anywhere else Loffty. Yet, you can 20 mins down the road and it will be cheaper.

I remember reading an article from an older person some years ago, remembering back then the price of fuel was much cheaper, however I thought it was a good idea and use to do it and it took some of the angst out of the price of petrol. What this gentleman did was as soon as the fuel gauge got to 1/4 full he would stop at the pump and put $20 of fuel in the tank. Never looked at the price, just put in $20, he said it took the stress of fuel pricing away. When I was doing it back a few years ago in Brisbane, that is exactly what I would do. Mainly went to the same service station on my way to or from work, $20 and no problems. Only time I stressed about the price was when my darling hubby was home for a few days straight and used the car, would fly out again and then the fuel tank was empty. Still, a small price to pay and if I could stress over that again and have him back I would gladly fill the empty tank. Sorry I digressed. Now I have a Ford Mondeo run on diesel and it takes me ages to run the tank down. love my diesel even if the price is always higher than petrol.

Wow Peter that would have been around 1976 or so. Remember when we lived in Adelaide filling up on the Hill as you are going to the old South Road down to Morphettvale and it was 11c a litre. When it hit 15 we were aghast. How times change, oh to be paying that again.

That's about right!!
What the mongrels used to do was have a 7 day cycle (price drop back to where they only make billions of dollars profit).
Now it's around a 10 day cycle.
I remember a servo owner put a sign outside his station which read something like......Petrol 10c a litre.....govmt tax 60c a litre.
He was promptly told to take it down.
