Anyone else having trouble downloading the GN Times from email? All I get is "about blank" in the little window at the top of the screen.
Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony,
I did to start with this time. I turned of the computer and then tried again later and it worked fine. I think it might have some thing to do with Abode on my computer.
Sharon.

If having problems try right clicking on the link and click on Save Target As... (Internet explorer) or Save Link As... (Firefox)

Could be something to do with adobe. I always upgrade in adobe if a message comes up saying its time to upgrade. I seem to need it to open quite a bit. Its the only thing I can think of that might be causing you a problem.

I have to right click and 'open' to view it.
I don't think my problem is adobe as I have the updates.
No idea! But this works for me, so I'm happy to keep doing it.
If this link still doesn't work on your computer, I would be happy to send the pdf file to you by email.

Anyone running Internet Explorer, for any reason, Including favorites, will lose Internet Explorer, from 15 June 2021. That's it, gone for ever. Microsoft is shutting it down, so if you can upgrade do it very soon, otherwise you will lose everything.

Internet Explorer is just a browser, there are much better alternatives.
I have been using Mozilla Firefox for well over 10 years, far superior to the Microsoft offering with a lot of very useful add-ons, easy to install and use and will import your MS favorites into Firefox Bookmarks.
There is also Google Chrome, I've tried it and found it very intrusive, tracks your every move.
The Current MS browser in Windows 10 is MS Edge, it has been since 2015, like Explorer its very intrusive.
Here's a link to the Firefox download page https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ costs nothing, easy to install, if you don't like it simply revert to what you were using previously.

Edge switched to the Chromium engine over a year ago. There are lots of privacy add-ons (eg uBlock Origin) that can mitigate or eliminate the browser's unwanted behaviour.
