One of my favourite creatures. Great to see some humans able to give them a hand.
Dolphins appear to love interacting with humans - it is good to see some humans able to return the favour.
Cheers

Thanks for sharing. That was amazing. Glad it didn't happen in the middle of the night. Or do dolphins sleep at night?

Actually dolphins sleep with only one half of their brain at the one time (like a few people I know lol) They do this because they have to be conscious to be able breathe. If they sleep with their whole brain they can't breathe because they rely on their brain to tell them when to breathe. ie when their blowhole is at the surface.

It'a amazing visison. Like the dolphins followed their leader and they all lost their way. They didn't appear to be chasing food into the shallow water. It seems to have worked out ok.

It was amazing just how quickly they got them all back in the water. A shame the same can't be done for whales but their size makes it so hard to get them back out there. Great piece of filming.

Am so glad you found that visual, and am so pleased the outcome was positive.
I wonder if the dolphins have a good feeling with that rescue...as I do.

They should all be very proud of themselves............
Apparently this happened on a beach in Brazil. I thought it was interesting enough to post on here.
