Does anyone out there have one of these or know someone who does? As I was complaining about being so hot over in SA last month a friend sent me this link. It looks as though it could work while free camping. I'm really not good in the heat.

It looks like a handy device for those of us who can't afford to put a full air conditioning unit in the van.
I've also been waiting all day to hear comments from anyone in the know on these things but by the look of it they may be few & far between.
Cheers

I'm not familiar with this particular unit but, in general, evaporative coolers work ok in dry climates but are a lost cause if the weather is humid.

Hi looked at one at the motor home show just recently. Stood at the display and had it blowing onto me and after a couple of minutes could feel my stomach getting cold. Just a small evaporative cooler, I think it worked well. I am going to buy one this summer, a lot cheaper than air con unit.
is this the link??...
