There just would not be these experiences without first having this Grey Nomad site. What a wonderful thing. Nothing beats Greens Lake and our special Green Laker members. Will be looking for something similiar up this way, might go for a drive out to Paradise Dam. Son took the kids there for a swim yesterday, said its only about 30 ks from here taking the road directly out of Biggenden.

You're very welcome Jimbo. We have really enjoyed your company too and feel like we've made a great friend. Having a fantastic time (apart from a couple of noisy generators). Heading off home tomorrow ready for work Wednesday

Jimbo is the camp supervisor at Greens. He checks everyone out, strikes up conversations with all and sundry and reports back to camp. Just ask him, he'll tell you. All good. We all had a great relationship with the young people around our camp at New Year. They were quite well mannered, and even interested in the "old f.rts" camped lakeside and stopped for a chat. Keep up the good work Jimbo. Pity you don't have that bike anymore. Walking takes a little longer with more effort. You'll really get fit now.

Hi all at Greens, I am so disappointed I didn't make it up to greens this weekend. I got as far as Bendigo and had a lovely time but the thought of staying that extra day and fighting the traffic tomorrow just got the better of me, sorry. I'm so glad you all had a great time. I will doy darnedest to get to Gympie and meet a whole lot more folk. Please travel safely all of you out there. I'm now home, showered and about to sit down to my roast for one. Yummo. Hope to see you soon in the great outdoors. Tess

Sorry we did not make it to Greens Lake last night, the weather turned a bit cold so we stopped at Chiltern, one of our favourite spots. Certainly needed power for the heater, very cold last night. The heater registered 1 deg when we turned it on at 7am. Maybe we are getting a bit soft as we get older.
Did manage to catch up with ChiChi in Canberra. Had a wonderful chat, thanks for organising the get together Mel.
Cheers
Glenda

This site should be called "The Friendly Site" - meeting GNs all over the place - just got back from having dinner with Brandt and Lorraine - Kiwias - who are in Boonah tonight before heading back to NZ for a month tomorrow - they will be back in time to head to the Gympie gathering - have already booked in - lovely couple - we shared a nice bottle of NZ Marlborough Sav Blanc over dinner at a local pub. Two more friends for me - how luck am I? As for Greens - loved my time there recently - have tried to upload pics, but no go - dunno why - mystery! Will see some of you at Gympie -

jules, your upload problem could be because you pics are too large, have you tried making them smaller?
