geesh gets up this morning at 5.30 drive my daughter to ettamogah pub
to get the bus to airport ,shes heading back to deakin uni, get home decide to strip her bed and clean out the room she sleeps in and what happens i get a call from the P A hospital which is where i shall be on Monday for four weeks ,well across the road at buranda lodge, and they want me in there
today ,seems the scans they did in the donut thingy were not good enough or some jargon, so they want me there at 4.30 to start another one before monday ,it better be all the news and not something else i wont be impressed ,im trying to stay positive, every small ache or feeling unwell some days makes me scared these days.
Its such a nasty thing this Melanoma ,im totaly over it by now, dealing with the lymphodema is enough as it is .oh well keep you guys posted on what the outcome of today is ,will try to get on tonight and let you all know how it went have agreat day out there, its windy here today and getting very fresh of a morning and evening already.

and now an extra phone call just now at 1pm to say they have canned my listing for monday for the radiation to start and are planning on starting on the 23rd of april to 23rd of may goodness me i had best ring buranda lodge now

At least you didn't get down there to be told of the delay Della. Had a friend having Gall Stones removed.
She had fasted, was gowned up, had visits from the doctor and anaesthetist and was just waiting , when they came and told her that they had posponed her for 2 weeks, so get dressed and go home.
Thankfully the operation went ahead the second time around.
Keep positive and keep us posted. We are all thinking of you.

can get a train to city and a bus from there but i got someone to drive my car so all is good staying positive, just even better that they are leaving it a bit longer i guess ,says to me i cant be in too much of a mess ,or the other where they think oh well we shall just see how she goes how would we know.
one minute im being told im at a high risk of it returning so you would think they would want to get to it but then i always know someone is worse off than me so i just grin and bear what i have to do.

just keep positive both of you and all will turn out well in the end, its a bugga having to wait longer but as you say it 'says to me i cant
be in too much of a mess'

thank you everybody,i guess it gives me another week with my hubby too so thats a bargain.
still no van as of yet its been a month now since they took it away .
starting to wonder just how much longer now.
