After 7 attempts, I got my driver's licence on Friday 13th, and in all the years since I have had 1 very minor accident (minimal paint damage), 1 parking ticket and 1 speeding ticket (which got over turned).
Not too bad for an old girl.
Still, I won't be tempting fate today, and will avoid black cats and ladders.

I hadn't even realised it was Friday 13th till I saw your heading. Just goes to show how much notice we take of dates.

There have been popular resignations on Friday 13th.
Wasn't it King Harold who resigned on Friday 13th?
.. No he declined, so it must have been someone else and most likely after 1066. Someone who was or wanted to be a world leader anyhow.

Senator Bob Brown resigned on this day 2012 from Australian parliament and politics. I felt like it was a good day. Just nice. A bit of shopping, nice shop assistance, pleasant chats, smiles overall, blended with yelling and cheeky kids giving their mums curry in the supermarket.

Same here Jimbo- went to bed in the 3rd quarter- broken hearted. If Collingwood doesn't pick up, I might have to swap allegiances back to league and the Knights.

HW I'd recommend you stay out of it, unless they ask for your assistance. You may end up alienating the affections of your son and the kids, and even his ex. Make some wise suggestions, but leave it up to them. If it gets too hard, take Myrtle for a l-o-n-g drive.
Despite today's reputation, its lucky for some.
