Thank you Wombat. That's nice. Looking at your avatar, I hope you are not currently in LA. I will have to warn my girlie!

Thank you Wombat from me too, and a Happy Mother's Day to all the other Mothers everywhere. Pete took me to breakfast over at the Surf Club this morning and sitting out on the balcony seeing the sun glistening on the water it was absolutely beautiful - why would we live anywhere else??

Thank you Wombat, I'm looking forward to dinner out tonight with my beautiful daughter, her hubby and my 2 gorgeous grandaughters and I had a lovely computer conversation on Skype this morning with my very thoughtful son working in Singapore.
I also wish all other mums a lovely day

Thank you Wombat. Am still waiting to hear from two of my kids. Three down, two to go! Always interesting to see who remembers first. Also glad my husband and I still have our mothers to wish Happy Mothers Day too.

When you're a child she walks before you, To set an example. When you're a teenager she walks behind you To be there should you need her. When you're an adult she walks beside you So that as two friends you can enjoy life together..

You're not very far from DeBe and ElBe at Yorketown. PM them and meet. They are a lovely, friendly couple who love meeting nomads. He can even fix things. Got anything needs fixing? DeBe might be able to do it.
Happy Mother's day to all mums. Thanks Wombat for kicking this thread off.
I was working, but I had a great day generally, and met some nice people along the way. My eldest sent me a message this morning, which really made my day. I'm glad I reconciled with her. I missed not having contact with her. I love her quirks and all.
to all GN mothers
Thank you Wombat
