Well, finally, after waiting a week, the springs have been refitted to the van and we are now on our own tyres instead of 4 jacks. The step is quite a bit higher so the springs must be doing their job. Our hip pocket is several hundred $s lighter so that must be good for towing the van!! So our 'free camping' nights courtesy of NRMA are over and we head out again tomorrow. We'll wave to all those people heading north as we head south.

It certainly pays to read all the print, big and fine. Insurance companies can be very selective when it comes to approving claims.
