Our kids gave us one about that size. It washed ok, but there was no spin function. We carried it around for a while, now it sits in the shed, cant even give it away.

I bought a twin tub on ebay last year. Only about 68 bucks. Its the same as they sell in the camping stores for 200. Works great and travels in the shower recess or next to my bed. We only take if we go for more than a week but I am very happy to have it.

Well we lashed out and bought a LEMAIR fully auto, cost a lot of money but is small and sits under the table in the van no problem, at Flecther Creek 3 buckets of water and a 300watt inverter of the battery and it ran like a greyhound.

We bought one of these when we did our 12 month trip around Aus and payed for itself in no time. We bought it in a couple of months into the trip, could not believe the dirt that came out of our clothes the first time we used it. Makes you wonder how clean those park washers get your clothes. Again we only take on longer trips.

I have just been checking out the ones on ebay and they all look ok....will probably invest in one.........
This is the one we got. Cost about $80 when we got it. Bought it because we saw some locals come into a C/P we were at and washed their dog blankets in one of the machines. Haven't used a C/P washing machine since.

We sat around the fire the other night with a lady who was raving about how good her twin tub was. Said it fitted a QB sheet OK.

I use to have a single bucket type that the bottom was the motor and the top was a 10 ltr bucket size. Was magic and got the clothes clean (man clean anyhow).
I have just bought a twin tub from ebay for $40 delivered so pays to wait if you have time.

well I got out my twin tub today and I have to say it was great..........and the good thing about it is I saved $8 on what it would have cost if I had used the C/P laundry, I paid $89 for it when I bought it off Top Buy so am happy with that.

I may have to look into it - today's 2 load wash/dry (wet day) cost me $14!

today was a sunny day so no dryers involved and they do take a few more loads to do your washing but I also did my mats from the van and it got them very clean, and hey I had nothing else to do for about an hour and a half which is what it took by the time I hung it on our mini clothes line i bought from the reject shop.........at least i wasn't walking backwards and forwards to laundry, so i do recommend them.

We ahd one of those buckets with the twist handle, it worked really well. Then we found thet our wrists gave up the ghost when wringing the water out of the clothes. Now we have a little twin tub, oh joy, no sore wrists, nice clean clothes, and at no extra cost. SWMBO is happy, and that makes everything wonderful.

that is originally why i got it , arthritis in both my wrists and thumbs, so no go at wringing out things (old age yuk ) but the spin cycle on this is fantastic..........
