fantastic news -that's it Gary, might as well sell the van now, Glenda won't want to be too far away - then again could always park the van in their yard for sleepovers. They are never too young to introduce them to caravan life.
Our 2 (18 and 9) are so precious and we have another due in a month who will be even more precious and special

Congratulations Gary & Glenda, bet you can't wait. I remember how excited I was with the arrival of my first grand daughter. That was 18 years ago now, and she has grown up into a beautiful young lady.
Cheers!

Congrats! It's another stage of life. The child you brought into the world is now bringing their child into the world. Another generation has begun. Celebrate and enjoy, but don't stop travelling because of it. I've met grandparents who have put their plans on hold or cancelled completely because grandma didn't want to be away from the new family, while grandpa resented the change of plans. I love my family, but I get on with my life and enjoy the visits. I deliberately stay out of their lives.

Thanks All. We will not stop travelling, our kids would be disappointed if we did. Do not think there will be another 12 month trip for a while though.
Everyone says it is great to be Grandies, we are enjoying it already. We saw the first ultrasound photo the other day, that was thrilling. The knitting needles are out and the quilts and bibs will start soon.
Cheers

Congratulations!!! Grandkids are so special - I'm absolutely smitten with my gorgeous 23 month old grandaughter Clare, and my gorgeous grandson Tarkyn (6 weeks).
They bring so much joy to my life.

Grandchildren make you feel younger ... most of the time ....unless they say 'Grandma you're all wrinkly'. But it sounds OK when it's your grandchild. So enjoy. You'll love this next stage of your life.
