Are they really seagulls? Perhaps its a trick of light but their wings look black... Maybe a kind of tern? Any birdo's here who can identify them?

Watching birds and trying to photograph them is one thing I spend a lot of time on Marj... very pleasant pastime. Have spent many peaceful hours just watching a single bird, or a whole flock. But I'm definitely not an expert.

A difficult one to call. Hard to see the bird up close. The wings, beak and body seem too bulky for a tern. Could be the trick of light on the wings with grey coming out as dark.
Always great to take photos of birds in flight HW.

I'm sure I have some photos of the same ones walking around the waters edge, well not exactly the same one but the same type of bird. Will have to go hunting for them
Greens lake has a bit of everything, even seagulls.
Any birdo's here who can identify them?
I'd put my money on terns also.
Cheers
