G'day mate,
if you google Pajero club Victoria public forum and use the search function you will most likely find the information that you are seeking and members are very helpful.
cheers,

despiteoverwhelming evidence to the contrary!
Sorry can't help with the SWB Pajero (see I'm not so smart after all! ) I've found my LWB 2003 a very good tug for my purposes but I'm only pulling an ATM of 1350Kg.
PS: did someone complain about the over use of acronyms on another thread! this one'll make 'em happy!

Most short wheel based 4x4 tend to be a bit bouncy or rough when towing doesn't matter what brand long wheel base is much better

A SWB Paj would be ok for a small single axle van as they still have a 95" wheel base which is only 1' shorter than the LWB and only 5" shorter than a LR Disco and we all know how great LR's are all round....
I'm not much of a Paj man but I have owned a Triton and it was a brilliant vehicle so I think it will be all good, well as good as any Paj anyway.
