Can anyone tell me how to access topics that have been posted some time ago?

Depends how far back you want to go Colls. you can put appropriate words in Search which is at the top in the blue line but it only gives 5 threads, not sure why . Or you can go into a particular topic like General Forum and work your way back through the old ones. its the only way I know of going back through them all. Or if you know who started the thread you can click on their name and on the left hand side click on Topics started, will give you the ones that person started. I'm sure others will come up with better ideas.

Thanks HW. I remember about 12 months ago a thread about travelling with medical issues and medication etc. It is my main fear of travelling alone so if anyone can tell me...that would be great.

Perhaps go into Health and Wellbeing and go back a few pages till about 12 months ago and start scrolling there. I wouldn't worry too much as long as you have scripts from your doc with you, you will be able to get them filled anywhere. There are hospitals in the smallest towns these days and if not there will be one not too far. So many on here have quite bad health issues and still get out there and enjoy.
I try to be Boroma. lol As long is I'm a living legend.

This issue highlights the value of putting topics in the appropriate sections. It is often easier to find older posts on (say) technical issues in the Techies Corner. Likewise it helps if topics are titled in a manner that alludes to the subject. Titles such as "A Question" or something similar are not helpful for future reference.

Totally agree. It has been said many times before but there are some who just don't get it.

Sometimes it may not be obvious which section is the most appropriate to post a topic and I don't think anyone, least of all I, is being pedantic about this, but at other times topics such as those suggesting (say) good campsites (just one of many examples) appear in the general forum where they will be buried quickly and of little use after a day or two.
At other times purely trivial posts or those unrelated to "grey nomadding" appear on the general forum instead the "I Digess" forum that was recently set up to enable us to engage in "off topic" conversations.
It's not my desire to "tread on any toes" here, just to suggest how we may get the best out of a very informative forum.

Would this be it?
