Good morning everybody, just popping in to read some messages and
say hi to all, i turned 51 on thursday had a big day friend of mine arrived with a big bunch of flowers pink and purple (purple being my fav colour) and then two gorgeous chrystal wall hangings for our van, also then took me to caloundra rsl for lunch, after lunch we had a small dabble on the pokies.
well friend won 117 dollars after putting six dollars in ,so a good day after she dropped me home she texted me said look in your handbag the little bugger had dropped 40 dollars into it, what a woman, i so have such wonderful friends in my life.
Thats including on here too, things have gotten better my burn is amazing now, ive been treating it with loving tender care ,and doing the same with my whole body ,just realizing its one day at a time and one job at a time from here on in, hubby and i are about to go out and start on our deck again and trying to get it finished, have only had two people look at the house for sale, so things are slow, and nobody have a bite at our business for a while either, but times are tough and everybody is scrimping on there dollars .
so we sit and wait for it to happen, thats all we can do ,and have hope that one day we will be hitting that big open road for good, hoping you guys are safe and wishing you all a wonderful journey on whatever you are heading in life itself.
its so good to be feeling so much better i still have my days but they are getting better all the time now.
Ive done my trip to Koolewong and that is all over with (thank goodness) i love my family but they drive me nuts lol.
so im home back in the hands of my wonderful husband ,and hes glad to have me back too.
NO MORE RADIATION woohooooooooo ,appointment on 9th july at the pa hospital in brisbane and see where we go from there .
MELANOMA YOU WILL NEVER BEAT ME is my new saying in my head i am stronger than you .
Big hugs to you all ,Della xxx

Hi Della, Sounds good, 51 and raring to go.All we need now is some sunshine your house to sell and off into the wild blue yonder. Sounds like you have a very special friend there from your RSL trip.
Just sat waiting for friends to settle in Saphire after moving from NSW and we are off fossicking, Might not find much but it will be fun looking.
Take care and keep planning your trip.

Hello Della, And thank you for '' saying Hi to us all''
There are a few on this forum that you have met, and there are a lot that you are still to meet, and some that unfortunatly, may never have that opportunity, due to timing, distance, or whatever. !
But of all the members on this forum, YOU and Graham would be the ones that this entire membership, hold the most Affinity for, We all are with you, and admire your strength, and determination, and love, for Husband and family whilst you battle this Hiccup in life.
We all sincerely hope that your House and business sells quickly, and you get out on the road full time, to give the rest of us a chance to meet our wonderful and brave couple of well loved forumites,
You will never know just how much, that other forum members like myself, wake up on on Cold and windy sunday morning, switch on the the computor, and read such a posative and caring '' Hi To You All ''
You know ?? my sunday will not be to bad now < Thanks to reading you post, !! So you and Graham enjoy your day, and know that there is a lot of Loving, Caring, and Positive Thoughts, surrounding you both

thank you so much guys, geesh dazren that was so nice of you to say all those things its not everyday i get told im positive ,in fact i dont even think of it as that im just so against this coming back and doing this to me again, i sit and think about being cut open again, i was only thinking of my 3 and a half weeks of hell in nambour hospital where i almost lost my marbles and that is serious.
anybody that has to put up with what i put up with in that place has to be awarded and so im saying my reward is to get better after all that i have been through, and not just even with the melanoma second time around, but all my life ,which is what i sit and ponder, why does some one have to get dealt such things and especially when they have finaly got there life right.
its all very weird to me and very very hard when people talk about the lord to me,i cannot help thinking oh come on why would he do such a thing , hes obiously seen what ive been through already .But we will never ever know the answer to that, people have a lot worse than i do.
so i am thankful to still be here, able to live my life and be beside my husband who i love and adore so much.
once again thank you guys ill keep you posted .xxx
raining today weve finished the back wall of the deck even in the rain, we just said oh bugger it lets keep going so its all done. :)

Hi Della.
I agree, Dazrens words were well said.
Your fighting spirit and the love you share with Graeme just makes all warm and fuzzy.
It also reminds me not to whinge about a few aches and pains, the rain, and all those everyday things.
You are allowed to have some down days, and as you say, just go with the flow.
Big hugs for you both.
