Have just recently arrived at the Walkamin caravan park which is half way between Mareeba and Atherton in north QLD, everybody here is friendly and they have the largest sites I have ever seen in a caravan park, not like the freepark just up the road towards Atherton where they are stacked in very very close together
And the price for Walkamin site is $22.00 per night and 7th night FREE got to be happy with that and we are off to explore the area

Beth has said just what I was going to say. List it under it's name then we won't have trouble finding it. Great one by the sound of it.

I have added to Recommendations section of the forum, if you are planning to come here you will need to book in peak period as it is a very popular park.

Yes it is pet friendly but Lucy the owner expects pets to be controlled at all times and definitely not in the camp kitchen or meeting area at any time
