this should maybe in the Tech section but I thought it should be here for everybody to see, I have checked this out with http://www.hoax-slayer.com/july-thousands-lose-internet.shtml and it looks legit.

for XP go to http://www.dcwg.org/detect/checking-for-dns-changer-on-windows-xp/ 

or for Win 7 http://www.dcwg.org/detect/checking-windows-7-for-infections/ 

Now scroll down and select your system, you are looking for a green result, if its red its means you are infected with the DNS Changer malware and could loose your internet connection after 9th July 2012

All of my computers get a green result

 Hi HW, I have tried it on all of my systems and all is fine, the only other option if you really do not want to test your system is to wait until the 9th July, if you still have internet connection after that day then your system was not infected.

If you do try it and your system is red then they do list on their page further instructions to clean your system.

I understand your concern. This is another site to do a check as well, looks legit, but who knows?

 I think it's just MS but I could be wrong, I got the info from a tech site I subscribe to.

As for facebook, I do not have it.
