Hi everyone just thought I would drop a line and let you know what stage we are upto. Settlement on our house is now only 10 days away. We have our new vehicle and we picked up our van last thursday and parked it at the western port harbour caravan park, it's a nice park mainly for those over 55, which we fall into. We are still at the house but will move into the van fully this sunday as we will loose all our furniture, we have been really lucky in selling everything, it has taken 3 months but been well worth it. Organising and sticking to a plan is the way to go and following advice from members on the forum has made life a bit easier. The wife has seen her last specialist till January next year, who was a bit reluctant to let us go off into the unknown but the wife is determined to go and nothing is going to stop her so hopefully wednesday morning 8th August we head north. We are in the process of loading the van, still culling things we don't need, it appears she is leaving the culling of her shoes to the last moment, are well what can one do. So looking foreward to getting away now and hopefully make contact with you wondeful people out there. When I get to know what I am doing with taking pictures I will post some on the site - might have to get wombat to do it for me though. Take care everyone, be good.

Great news David & Cheryl how about some pictures of the new rig, I suspect you might be dreaming in regard to the shoe culling.
Have a great trip the weather up north has now improved so you should have a great trip may see you on the road we are now heading south and are at Maroochydore which is a fantastic place to spend a week or two, cotton tree is a very good location/caravan park but a bit on the expensive side.

Hi David & Cheryl
Sound like you are almost there and all the organising has paid off. Good luck with the rest of your "to do" bits and enjoy your travels and life on the road.
Cheers!

A good way to do Culling is to leave little unwanted bits on tops of rubbish bins as you travel along.
If SHMBO has STUFF you fell she MAY NOT NEED LOL then you could accidentally put them out to dry before you leave and forget to retrieve.
Be aware that she may learn the trick so best to be a bit selective, if you know what I mean ???
Seriously the best way is to put a color dot on everything and if it has not been used before the next season eg 12 months then it needs to go.
This does not go for tools and essential MEN stuff of course.
