I see we have a new way of uploading pictures, just a click and it takes you to your computer and you then pick the picture you want to load, I'm just going to try it out.

That was easy, now nobody should have problems uploading pics, it's a thing of the past

I see the diference Wombat. It takes you straight to your computer file menu now, as you said, instead of to a page with multiple spots which you select your pics then there was a choice of what to do with them which, I believe, use to confuse some people.

I used to put a tick in the box that said Attach Image and the the browse box came up, how long have you have the Attach BUTTON?

Did what you said Womby - this is what I have always had on screen.  Did what I have always done again - and it worked again.

Yes, the attach poll has gone, Cindy must be making some changes, RL maybe you could try a restart of your computer, then come back in again

Have gone and and found it exactly the same as its always been. Will upload a photo and see what happens. Have you found something somewhere else wombat?

yep, I think it's new so I say thank you Cindy, it misses out on the step where you have to browse, but you still have to select the pic you want to upload but I think a lot of people will find it easier, especially people like Dougwe

Just went back in for a 2nd time. Mine is the same as its always been. Nothing has changed.

Attach Image, browse, find photo and click on it, upload photo by clicking on Submit post.

OK HW, try this hold down your Ctrl key at the same time as pressing F5, see if that will reset your screen

You asked how long have I had the attach image button? Since I joined this site.

when you guys say the attach button, was that button always there or did you have to put a tick in a box and then select attach image?

Hey Wommie ... what you have shown there as "the old way" is EXACTLY how it still appears to me today !  

And for what it is worth, this box I am now typing in for a "new topic" is FULL PAGE and not just the smaller box it used to be.

Did that Wommie ... and no change ... still full screen and the old radio buttons are there to select 'email me' & 'attach image' .... however, the radio button giving me the option to 'attach poll' has gone

Rebooted Wommie ... no change ... from the comments on this thread I think it appears you are the only one who sees the change for uploading photos. Although, I have never found the 'upload photo' methodology a problem - as it was (and still is )

Having said that, the 'full screen' reply box/new topic box is a change.

I am using Vista, just fired up a Win 7 system and I am still getting the attach image BUTTON on both systems, not the old tick in the box option

now can you tell me if you are clicking on a button with the words Attach Image(s) OR are you putting a tick in a square box and then hitting Attach Image(s)?

I'm confused

I normally click in the box and that puts a tick in it.

I just tried clicking on the wording and that put a click in the box.

Mine is the same as Marj's Wombat.    Been that way from the beginning.  No change, except somewhere along the way the size of Pics. changed.  Never used to have to re-size originally.

I use XP.
