I am having problems with my BBQ and my stove. I have sent Swift two emails from their website. No answer. I have rung and left a message on their answering machine. No reply.

I do not think your complaint will get much of a hearing on this forum, As most people who join this forum, have been following it for a while, see it is full of friendly helpful people A nd when they decide to join the community, they introduce themselves, and give a little ''basic'' information''
Some people join, because the have a disagreement with some business or company, and wish to voice thier anger, which ''may or may not'' be justified.??
Seeing as you have just joined, and this is your first post, and it is very negative, and also only one side of a dispute, one has to question your motive ??
If your serious about joining, tell us a little about yourself, what your tow vehicle is what van you tow, places you have been ?? let us get to know you and then we may put some credence to your complaint

Welcome Dennis - but as Dazren says - how about introducing yourself, put a picture of your vehicle (s) - etc., sorry, but your post is a bit offputting, when opened and seeing the large black print. Can understand your frustration, but how about asking for help on here, instead of coming on so negative, as you have done.
A simple question, like - does anyone have Swift appliances? - maybe even put it in the technical section as well - amazing what some of the people on here have knowledge of.

When I telephoned last year to ask why they do not supply more than one rack in their oven, I was sent two additional racks at no charge to me! Similarly the light switch on our extractor fan had gone to God and they mailed out a replacement switch at no charge. So no complaints from us!

Thanks for that mikemin, good to get differing comments ?? from some one we Know, I think we may not hear from dennismc any more ??? However as you know we welcome all comers on this forum, and if he chooses to come back, and be a forum particepent, then naturally, we would listen to his point of view But your expierence with Swift, goes to show there is 2 sides to every story ???

I too only have positive feedback for Swift Appliances.
When in Melbourne with our 3 week old van in 2007 we had an issue (can't recall now exactly what) with out stove.
We phoned the factory & they invited us to visit and the manager spent 1/2 hour with us adjusting a few things which got the stove working perfectly.
We left very happy.

Apologies brickies, you are quite right, it was a hi-jack [ sort of ? ] and i probaly started it, However i did not consider it to be a real post because it was started by someone, who had a bitch going on with some company he was dealing with, and He joined up - had his bitch- and has never come back again, We had a few answers to say they did not understand his complaint, then the thread went dead, I think he was not happy with the company, and just joined to try and damage the company name ???

I too only have positive feedback for Swift Appliances.
