Jumped into that saddle last Monday morning after a weary many months of medical ailments etc.
Headed north from the south east, went past Adelaide.
But the second night out my old ailment hit me hard and GP's told me to go home.
Back home Thursday evening and feeling somewhat disenchanted with life and what has been dished out over these years.
Today with neighbourly help I have unloaded the campervan and pondering my future.
OK, the Mercedes Campervan is going on the market.
Pictures can be seen in Show my Rig.
Unfortunately reality has raised it's head and I will no longer be travelling.
Anyone curious enough thinking or wanting to purchase a campervan, then please pop me an message.
Cheers,
Dennis

You can do the whole 3 ole grizzly, swear curse and blaspheme. What a bugger, so sorry your dream has to end. You must be so disappointed as we all are for you. If I had won Powerball last night I would be on my way to pick up the Mercedes Campervan. Hope you can get some treatment for these ailments and get something out of the whole sorry situation.

Feeling for you Grizzly. Makes me even more determined to get going as soon as I can, before I'm in the same Boat.
So sorry for your loss of freedom. Hope you get a genuine buyer soon.
Cheers,
Sheba.

That must be very disappointing for you. Maybe this has happened for a reason and that you were not meant to go right now. With some luck something that is meant to happen, and from which you will derive pleasure, is about to be on the horizon. Time will tell. In the meantime, I hope you can find some positives to rejoice in, despite having to let go of this particular dream. Regards, Lyn

Sorry to hear of your plight Dennis, perhaps better that it happened so close to home rather than further away.
Keep your chin up,

I'm sorry to hear this too Dennis. You gave it your best shot, but your body has told you to sit back and take it easy. Something good will come out of this, I'm sure.

I agree with all the sentiments written here Dennis. Time to take care of you and only you and if that unfortunately means you have to sell your van then it has to be. It can always be replaced you cannot be. In the meantime you can live vicariously through other forum members when they are out on the road perhaps. Never give up though and stay strong.
Thinking of you
