Does anybody know of a good guide to Australian plant identification? We have the Cronin's key guides for Australian mammals, and for reptiles and frogs already, as well as the Slater field guide for birds in our van, and my MD is interested in finding out about the plants too. The most likely candidate I've found so far is published by Holland, titled - Guide to Inland Plants.
Advice please.

I was recommended to get the "Field Guide to Australian Wildflowers" by Denise Greig. It seems to be fairly comprehensive, yet I have trouble finding particular plants/flowers. I have a horticulture qualification, but dont know which family to look under, for some plants, and theres not always an obvious selection. Dont think its value for money.. hopefully somebody else will have a better "Flower book" and "Tree book" Good luck Fridaydog!

Hi Graham, you could also contact CSIRO publishing for regional guides, pretty sure you will find something to please the MD.
