I am not sure what's going on this way but for the second year in a row my rego has come to my house 3 days before it is due!
Main Roads say they send them 6 weeks before they are due, wonder if this is a way for them to get late fee's?
Anybody else having this trouble?

Here, in the sunny seaside suburb of Scarborough WA, they usually arrive well in advance.
A chat with your local State and Federal MPs might work if a complaint to the PO management does not succeed.

We paid our rego over the phone without the reminder slip last year as we were away and the mail hadnt caught up with us. No worries. I suppose this can be done in WA too?

I know someone who recently got fined for having the old rego sticker on. They had paid the new year and hadn't got round to putting it on, and then mislaid it. Cop said if they had taken the old one off and not had one on at all they would not have got a fine of 80.00. The cop would have checked up and found it was paid and all would have been ok.

In WA where we have no stickers, reminder notices are sent out by post 6 weeks in advance, however you can also opt to have a reminder sent as well by sms or email 10 days before it expires (free service)......
While we do not have to carry our rego papers or have stickers displayed in WA, I have been told to be on the safe side over east to carry a photocopy of the rego papers clearly marked "copy only" to avoid being booked by zealous interstate cops.
Most know WA do not display stickers anymore.

I think the no stickers is also coming to NSW as well.

NSW is going to a no rego label and our notification comes always comes around six weeks prior to when due for renewal.
I just noticed Gerty Dancers new avatar and think its great, also like the caption.
