I need to pick your collective brains. I have to cover our van as it has sprung a leak and I can't find where from & can't afford to get it fixed professionally.
The 2 eBay links below are for 2 different covers.
One says it's heavy duty & seems the better one (though that may be just advertising bs). It is made from polypropylene but I have read that this stuff doesn't handle the sun & UV rays very well & can break down in a year or 2.
I need advise on which one would be better. We live in Grafton so the summers are quite hot and sunny. The caravan is kept in a sheltered area between the house and the garage (but no cover) so I guess the cover won't have to be super tough.
Before anyone says we should buy a more expensive one, I'd love to but we have very little money to spare so we have to go for the cheapest.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers Jon

Jon, the polypropylene one claims to be UV stable whereas the polyester only states UV treated. Personally, because of the 4 layer construction & supposedly UV stable I'd go for the polypropylene cover. Seems a much better unit. (Breathable is a big plus also as it should prevent condensation buildup between the cover & van.)

Dont know what ours is but we paid a little over 200 dollars on ebay. Working really well except one of the corners tore on the bottom of the van when it was windy.Problem solved with a few pot holders wedged on the corner. We thought we could buy a new one every few years and it would still be cheaper than a car port. We live in Tamworth so it gets pretty hot. Our last van suffered badly so we are very happy now.

The other link is for a lightweight one made from polyester which i think is suppose to be better in the sun but maybe not as strong.
