I'd love to go to the Muster, but how early do you have to set up camp to get a good spot? We did a drive up there last July and there were small pup tents already up marking peoples spots - i wonder how much they have to pay for that? One day when we don' have fur kids we might go! Glassies you were very lucky - he is very yummy!

If I remember rightly, a few years ago there was an interview on one of the news channels with some-one who was camped there about 3 months prior to the actual event. This was some-one who, like some friends of mine, has been going every year since the beginning.
I remember when the Webb brothers first started it, but have never managed to get there yet.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Watched a story on Landline at noon today, about Chad Morgan and the Gympie Muster. Made me wish I had gone.

Being in the area at this time. From Gympie to Tiaro Qld The locals .found it way to expensive and the crowds were way down...I still don't know what they charges for what...It seems one had to get there then they'd tell you what your up for
I have never been to the gympie muster ,and i would always liked to have gone even though
i have heard its expensive ,but as you can see by my avatar last year i went to tamworth
and adam harvey was playing in a club in an auditorium i didnt pay to go and see him but
at the end he was having photos taken people were qued up for ages and my youngest heidi
22 at the time was in the line up , she was gone for about an hour so i went looking in there for her
i stood beside her and said what are you waiting for, she was waiting on a signature of some lady singer
and i said oh ,and she said but now ive got that im waiting on Adam harvey to have a photo
I then said oh ok she said have you seen him (my reply) nup, so she said look down there ,
there was only about fifteen people to go ,and my tongue rolled onto the foor
so i said move over
heidi im getting in that line, and so we did it together, heidi got a picture taken and when it was my turn
adam harvey looked at me grinned and said your only tiny grabbed a chair and said come here honey and
sit on my lap (I WAS GOBSMACKED) and so that is how i got my picture taken with Adam harvey
and the only one that go to sit on his knee till my friend found out and ran in there demanding she get the
same treatment lol. Oh well i got the hug as well she didnt lol.
