I took the cassette out to empty it and clean it and when i put it back in it has jammed the trapdoor in the open position.Of course i can take to the c/van repair place but it will probably be something simple and they will want to charge me a fortune to fix it. So maybe someone on the forum has had this happen to them.

Try some cooking oil spray, once it is released use "O"ring grease or silicone spray regulary for easy movement of slide

gee,I was only contacting "Cequent" this week about how to pull the units apart to cleam 'em and replace the rubber seals. A Martin Parker from "Cequent"send me out some diagrams. This happened to me once. The door inside was not closed before I pushed the unit in. what's the best cleaner you've come across by the way?

No luck Jim and Sheeds. It looks like I'm going to call in the mobile repair bloke that comes to the village regularly.

Toilet fixed. A little bit of silicone spray did the trick.
