My wife a i have just spent two nights at the Lazy Lizard caravan park at Pine Creek in the N.T. Never again. The setting is nice but the pub is right on your doorstep. Normally that would be fine but the management allow the loud music (and i mean loud) and the drunks to carry on till closing time which is 1.00 AM.
This occurred on the Thursday and Friday nights we were there. The language was disgusting to say the least and even after closing time the drunks were still hanging around carrying on.
To make things worse, an employee was out with the blower vac getting rid of the leaves at seven the next morning.
We are both in our mid fifties and love a good time but to have to put up with the racket till the early hours is a bit much when staying at a caravan park.
We have the opinion there is financially more to be made behind the counter than there is at the caravan park.

I agree with you Flyboy not good at all. I hope the blower vac was not CV Park staff, if so that staff member should be blown out the front gate with it. 7.00am is not good maybe you could forgive 8.30 in the CV Park, just a tad rude.

Go to Pussy Cat Turf Club - just over the railway line - cheap, meals, good company

Count me in for another recommendation for the Pussy Cat Turf Club. Lovely friendly place and they make you most welcome. Cheap too.
Also there is possible volunteer work for free accomodation at the railway museum there.
