I didn't see the report............................. but is this due to Global Warming/Climate Change/or just stress from the Carbon Tax?
I have been told that hairloss can be triggered by stress. Lol

We were very saddened today....we drove about 35 kms from Bemboka to Bega in NSW and saw at least 12 dead wombats on the side of the road - often two near each other. There must be a lot of live ones out there to see so many dead ones.

Oh gosh that is so sad.
I had seeing our wildlife dead on the roads and highways especially in country areas. It breaks my heart to see so many. A lot of country folk don't care if they hit them either, which ticks me off no end.

Oh yes, you certainly care if you hit a wombat... not only because you are killing a creature, but its like running into a brick dunny!!! They do heaps of damage to your vehicle... I've braked very, very sharply to miss them! They have a bad habit of seeing you coming then just staying there with their back to the oncoming car... as they do to protect themselves against dingoes. A truck wouldnt be able to stop.
