Thats quite good. I hired a van to go to Disneyland on the second day in LA, as I was the only one with an international licence, and got more scared on the freeways on a friday morning, on the wrong side of the road than the rides at Disney. Dreamworld is better.Bought a kombi for $1000, and spent 3 months driving up to Canada, and down to Mexico. Its a great place once you get out of the cities.Bill

And the yanks were winging about the price of petrol, which was $1.10 a gal!It cost $28 to fill the kombi!Don,t think, just do it.Cars are cheap in California.Bill

For those of you who might want to send off a photo of what Brisbane now looks like with the new road systems with this photo taken from the north.
The overpasses etc are immediately north of the Ekka with the Royal Brisbane Womans Hospital on the western side.(right hand side)

Wow! I haven't seen this photo John. I didn't realise it looked like that from above.
I've used it a couple of times to go to the RBWH. I live a long way over the other side of the city centre, so I've found the Clem 7 tunnel a breeze to get to my appointments...once I figured out which way to go, that is. Luckily I don't have to go too often.
