It was very dusty and smokey right through to Injune and back to Toowoomba. I have allergy overload,,been sneezing and coughing for days.
Sis & bil and I seperated yesterday at Chinchilla. They were heading Wondai way to go home, and I camped at the Weir for the night. I hope none of our GN's were there because I stayed inside the van like a snob, to keep out of the wind.
There's no reception at the weir so I couldn't touch base with you guys and gals.
I went all that distance with no mishaps with Lucy or Lulu, or myself for that matter. I didn't fall once, just acquired a few bruises. Then...after parking the van at her home away from home, I reversed into a tree! I knew it was there somewhere and was pivoting back and forth as I slowly reversed,,,the sun was glaring in the back window...then thump! Luckily it was the tow bar,,but it's wee bit dented now!

Welcome back Beth. It shouldn't be long before you hit the road again heading South though.

That must have been it Marj! Gotta watch out for those jumping trees! My excuse is that I was tired.
Yes Doug, 3 weeks and we're off.
valnrob, yes a bit far for the time span, for me anyway.
Speaking of jumping...they're were heaps of roos out west. Mostly roadkill sadly, but we did see one sitting at the side of the road waiting for us to pass. I let bil go in front as he has a Nissan Patrol with a bullbar.

You beat me to it Beth. I was just going to say that I'll bet you're already planning the next trip.
Glad it went well. Have a good one next time.
Cheers,
Sheba.

I forgot to mention one problem, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think the fridge isn't working properly. I'll have to get that checked. I have another fridge to fall back on if that's the case.
Thanks Sheba.

Sorry to say Chris, but speaking from experience, it's not going to clear until it rains. If it effects you as it did me, just stay indoors as much as possible.
The weird thing is, I've been going west all my life and it's never effected me as much as it did this time. Must be getting old and frail.
