I can feel for the person who has had his posts removed complaining about a certain manufacturer.
From what I gather this member feels agrieved by all parties in this.
I realise that the legal side of things make airing grievances on forums very hard and can attract litigation, however in saying that where do you go when you have all avenues blocked?
I am sure Cindy has done the right thing in removing the posts but when you feel hard done by................................

Cindy has provided us with this great Forum which is well run , There is a good reason why that is so, lets not start second guessing her reason of pulling post she does a great job

We can always pm the person to get the information about faulty manufacturers. Best not to name them if we dont want posts removed or Cindy being sued.
I can empathise with your thoughts ... and perhaps for the "deleted poster" ..... however, to be honest, there are many avenues an individual can pursue complaints such as those raised. I fail to see how raising them on any forum such as these can do anything to resolve the issues.
It may solicit empathy, supportive comment and help to relieve one's stress - but it is not the place to find a resolution.
It is wise for these sort of posts to be discouraged (and removed if necessary) to maintain the integrity of the forum and its members.

Wise words John. I wholeheartedly agree.

Hi Wombat thanks for those addresses, hopefully I will never need them.
Hi Trevor, I think it was a case of contents and the number of posts from the one person one after another and all were similar contents, a case of going over board in my opinion anyway. I just kept clear of Techies Corner for a while.
