Can't help you with your enquiry, but I had a 2WD Triton Ute at one stage and it was beaut, sorry I got rid of it.
With any ute with towing you need to make sure you keep a bit of a load in the rear for stability (towing that is).

hi Rocket I bought the new ranger and tow a 2800kg van and delighted with the power,torque and comfort. The economy is better than the prado and Mrs very happy with it check out a few of the others on sale Ken
