You'll need to turn it upside down to get it to work at nighttime

What sort of dog was she watching!
She must have been worn out (but fit) after skipping for an hour!

I got caught out! I set the alarm for 6.30am to go and clean up after my nephew's wedding. My clever phone went forward during the night and as we were in Queensland and not NSW where we live, the alarm went off at 6.30am daylight saving time but it was only 5.30am in sunny Qld! Of course we couldn't go back to sleep so finally got up and went and cleaned up the hall!

You've got to be kidding. Daylight saving already? I remember in the early 70s when I was teaching on Cape York peninsula and the Qld government introduced daylight saving - we thought it was great because we could close the school at midday (ii o'clock) because all the kids went home for lunch and never came back - and go fishing for barra until 8 o'clock until it got dark. Sorry, but these days I don't believe in daylight saving although ... on our recent drive we could have done with an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day when we were surprised by it being dark by 4pm when we were in Victoria.

Maybe that's a problem with flies, try spraying them with WD40.
