Really John?? We have got heavy rain starting around lunchtime. The wind came up couple of hours ago, didn't last long, and could hear thunderstorm in the distance.
Son went into Childers for groceries just before lunch, he said the rain was so bad was difficult to see while driving.
We are quite sheltered here as you would know. Just solid rain now, filling the water tank. Yippee!!

Big storm through south of Toowoomba too last night. I had ear plugs in for the traffic noise and could still hear the claps of thunder - one right on top of us made me jump.

was good rain yesterday afternoon, but it was not enough we need a fair bit more to fill the water tanks
we had less than 2 hrs rain
