Hubby and I just drove down to Theresa Creek Dam from Mackay. It was our first time here and oh boy what a road to avoid. Just outside of Nebo there are many ks of road works and in between are the most horrid stretches of bumpy, dipsy, doozy raggedy stretches of bitumen, and a lot of traffic. It was a horror driving it, I was gripping the steering nearly all the way, sure was glad of my Shandy when we arrived! still the road will be great once it has been finished they are doing what appears to a total remake. Maybe there is another road to take until the work is completed?
